MobileManager

MobileManager allows operation and control centers to communicate directly with drivers in the field via voice as well text messages that are displayed on the MobileManager screen. The unit offers GPS, GSM and direct satellite communications, draws power from the vehicle battery as well as containing an internal back up battery. MobileManager is available in both ruggedized and commercial form factors. The unit supports a RS232C port for configuration in addition to various inputs/outputs for sensors.
There are two types of MobileManager available. The S-Series, IWOW TR900, uses the GSM network while the T-Series, Iridium Model 9601 SBD, features an automatic toggle between the GSM network and a direct satellite. The T-series offers an open sky capability, providing unhindered tracking and location services. In addition, both models have 2-way communication in the form of access to telephone, voice and text messaging.

Text Communication: The system allows operation and control centers to communicate directly with the driver through text messages that are displayed on the device’s screen. The MobileManager has predefined buttons that allow drivers to respond quickly and easily. All of the predefined buttons are customizable to suit any business. We offer default buttons such as, job completed, arrived at destination, yes, no, truck, break down, scroll up or down to read messages, and more.

Voice Communication: The unit accepts all incoming calls, however, will only accept 2 predefined numbers for call out. The voice communication can be available with a hands free unit communication or a head set unit.

Communication Modes: Clients can choose between a CDMA and a GSM unit. Communication of information to the back end server is done either by CDMA or GPRS, SMS or Satellite modem. When used as a hybrid, there is automatic toggle between MobileManager GPRS and satellite with GPRS as the default communication mode.

Device Based Geo Fence: In addition to the configurable geo fence available on the back end server, the unit has five built in geo fences which can serve as a backup geo fence. The five geo fences can be configured in the event of a communication breakdown between the server and the device.

Speed Monitoring: MobileManager allows businesses to monitor the speed levels of their entire fleet. Using the GATIS software, users have the ability to set speed limits for each vehicle and receive alerts when the driver exceeds it.

Geo Fence: Geo fence is managed through our GATIS software and offers one of the most dynamic electronic fence tools on the market. In addition to the device based geo fences, our platform offers unlimited customizable electronic fences that may be set up as monitoring measures for assets in the field. These include standard electronic fences as well as a shape drawing feature for quickly creating geo fences.

Vehicle Sensors: MobileManager offers several vehicle sensor tools to help businesses become more productive and efficient. With sensors for fuel monitoring, weight, temperature, door, seat belt and erratic driving, operators will have the ability to effectively manage the different aspects of their fleet.

Route History: Fleet owners are able to set specific routes for vehicles and may also view the route history of their vehicle for specified periods. The GPS unit will also generate alerts when a driver deviates from a designated route.

Alerts:The user can set alert parameters based on the configuration of the device such as geo fence, speed, seat belt, door sensor, panic button, and more.

Reports: MobileManager uses our state of the art back end software solution, GATIS, to provide several reports for fleet management. Reports can be generated for alert history, route log, speed, alerts, location, maintenance and much more.

Fleet Maintenance: The user can use MobileManager to monitor their fleet for maintenance purposes. By entering the default starting mileage and service intervals for different maintenance alerts, Mobile Manager can provide reports and alerts when scheduled maintenance services are due.

Silent Alarm: The silent alarm allows the driver of the vehicle to safely and discretely notify the fleet manager if any type of problem occurs.

Radio Silence: Radio silence can be utilized in military or high sensitive government, environmental or electrical installations areas.
- Breakdown Alerts: There is an in-cabin button which can be used in times of vehicle breakdown so fleet managers can be notified and direct their driver.
